Intern teachers receive an invitation to renew their contracts before the deadline.
The Teachers Service Commission hired twenty thousand (20,000) Teacher Interns on September 1, 2023, and they have been invited to extend their contracts.
After the one-year contract period that was established from the previous year ends, the internship contracts for intern teachers are anticipated to expire on August 31, 2024.
According to information provided, the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) decided to grant the 20,000 interns’ internship contracts an additional four months.
The new agreement will go into effect on September 1, 2024, and run until December 31, 2024.
In accordance with the resolution, TSC has instructed to prolong the contracts for willing interns.

To guarantee continuous service, it is anticipated that the contract renewal process will be finished by August 30, 2024.
By September 3rd, 2024, a list of all the interns who have agreed to the extension and the completed paperwork are anticipated.
