Newly Revised TSC Guidelines for Promoting Teachers from B5 to C3 under CPG.

Career Progression Guidelines (CPG) are used by the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to decide which teachers should be promoted and to what grade they should be in.

According to the TSC, the rules set out in (CPG) are in place so that it can carry out CBAs.

What teachers need to do now to move up from B5 to C1

B5 is the lowest grade that elementary school teachers can get.

Most people call teachers in Grade B5 “Primary Teacher II.” This is the first level of training for all primary school teachers.

And according to TSC, this job group is the fifth level of the T-scale and includes all new teachers who were hired recently.

Newly hired elementary school teacher begins their job in this grade.

A teacher who is currently at the Grade B5 level will be moved right away to the Grade C1 level when the three years are up.

As per the rules of the CPG, teachers can be promoted from the B5 level to the C1 level without having to go through any more training or an interview.

This process is done automatically for people who have worked in B5 for three years before they can be promoted to c1.

Teachers move up from C1 to C2

Grade C1 teachers are in T-Scale 6, which means they have earned the C1 grade.

People who work here are also known as Primary Teacher I.

It’s not normal for teachers in grade C1 to move on to up to grade C2.

First-grade teachers in grade C2 are part of the Senior Teachers group and are called Senior Teacher I.

Primary school teachers who are working to move up should get this grade because it is more difficult.

Based on the main criteria, it is an entry-level job in the administrative group.

Because the job is difficult, people who want to move up from Grade C1 to Grade C2 must fill out an online application as soon as the TSC posts an ad for it.

TSC moves teachers up from grade C2 to grade C3

Grade C2 is for Senior Teacher II in elementary school and is seen as a step up for teachers of elementary school kids.

In the primary level, a teacher must have worked for at least three years as a Primary Teacher I on the T-Scale 6 before they can be approved for this grade.

Following at least three years of service and participation in promotion interviews, the teacher in grade C2 who works under a Senior Teacher II has the chance to be moved to Senior Teacher I.These are teachers who are in the third grade right now.

On the other hand, teachers from elementary schools who are sent to teach in high schools begin their lessons at Grade C2.

For secondary schools, the Grade C2 post is a promotion grade that is only given to teachers with a Diploma.

For people with a degree, their first job in a secondary school puts them in C2. After three years, these teachers move right away to C3 without having to go through an interview. This means that it happens on its own.
